The Top 5 Bloggers you should be following...

Wether you're new to the online beauty scene or a veteran there are so many Instagrammers and Youtubers you could be following. I've been following various beauty bloggers for years now, I spend a lot of time researching new products before I buy them as I HATE wasting money on make-up that doesn't float my boat. There is nothing worse than spending £40-£50 on a foundation that is going to sit in your make-up bag for years. If you're wondering who you should be following to get the best tips and advise then look no further, I'm going to run you through my top 10 beauty bloggers that I love to follow.

1. Huda Kattan - @hudabeauty

The ULTIMATE beauty guru, Huda Kattan is Instagram's top beauty influencer, she's a make-up artist turned business entrepreneur. She's amassed a following of 21M and is most beauty enthusiast's number one to go for all things beauty related. Not only is she beautiful herself she has built up a make-up empire with her beauty line Huda Beauty selling out their liquid lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes. What I love the most about her Instagram is that she shares lots of posts from different bloggers so that you can follow a wide variety and see loads of beauty hacks, skincare advice and haircare tutorials.

2. Manny Gutierrez - @mannymua

Manny was one of the first beauty bloggers I started following years ago and as soon as I watched his videos I knew I loved his honest, quirky and hilarious reviews. He was one of the first male beauty influencers to gain a huge following over Instagram and Youtube and his tagline states ' I think boys deserve just as much cosmetic recognition', I totally agree with this and if you're wondering wether boys can do just as good, you need to follow him now. Manny's influence has helped him create collaborations with various make-up brands and become Maybelline's first cover boy. His make-up tutorials are easy to follow and to wear and he uses quite a few drugstores products which means the look he achieves is more accessible to most of his viewers. Manny has lots of one brand make-up tutorials so that you can see which products you like best from a certain brand, expect sassy opinions.

3. Karen Sarahi Gonzalez- @iluvsarahii

If you love your lipsticks then iluvsarahii is the girl to get following. She started off her journey working at Lancome, then at MAC where she worked for 5 years learning the tricks of the trade. Her lips alone are probably the most viewed on Instagram with her quick videos applying glosses and lipsticks in the most amazing colours. Iluvsarahii's instagram is packed with full glam selfies, mini tutorials and fashion advise, her looks are really adventurous and she likes to play with colour and always experiments which I love. It's sometimes hard to find beauty bloggers that don't do the average winged liner and red lip combo. If you're looking for some inspiration for a slightly different more daring look then her Instagram is definitely a good one to follow. She has just launched a collection with colourpop cosmetics which the beauty world has been going crazy about!

4. Patrick Simondac - @patrickstarrr

Patrick Starrr with 3 r's is best known for his youtube video 'The Power of Make-up' which gained 8M views plus his over the top, drag queen style make-up and pure sassiness. Most recently he's had the honour of doing Kim Kardashian West and Katy Perry's make-up and killed it. I like following Patrick as he uploads lots of videos of him glamming up various Youtubers and famous people showing his tips and tricks and favourite products he uses. I love his style and the fact that he doesn't try to hide who he is. One of three filipino brothers all with names beginning with P, they are a family business with his brothers helping film his tutorials. 5. Jamie Genevieve - @jamiegenevieve

New and upcoming to the beauty influencer scene I first started following her when she took a trip to Coachella festival with Tarte Cosmetics. When I watched her Youtube channel I noticed she had the same skin type as me, weirdly enough I've noticed that lots of beauty bloggers tend to have oily skin that they can manage with tons of powder and mattifying setting spray, but when you have dry skin its sometimes difficult to find a beauty influencer that can offer opinions on products specifically for that skin type. I also love her dark smokey eye looks and bronzed glowing skin that she creates. Jamie is really into her skincare as well which I resinate with.
